How to book the fundraiser for your organisation?

Contact Jaspa Photography at jaspaphoto@bigpond.com or on 0417446314 to select a date that will work best for your organisation. Typically family portraits are best organised on a weekend, Jaspa can photograph on either a Saturday or Sunday., and will photograph up to 30 families per day. Minimum is 15 families. 

Once the date is booked all documents needed to promote the event such as appointment schedule, appointment slips and electronic flyers will be emailed to the coordinator.

The electronic flyer is printer friendly and is custom designed for your organisation. Flyers may be attached to electronic newsletters and social media advertising to gain maximum exposure.

Each $20 BOOKING FEE IS COLLECTED AND RETAINED BY THE EVENT COORDINATOR.

IE: 20 Families book and participate in the event = $400 DIRECTLY to your organisation.

Bonuses:

$5 from every $230 CD Rom package purchased is also donated to the organisation when over 25 families participate.

In 2018 , event coordinators receive a cd rom package valued at $230 when over 20 families are photographed.

Buy books, equipment or simply add your fundraising effort from hosting family portraits to reach fundraisings gaols for larger purchases, it all adds up.

Once families book an appointment time and pay their $20 fee they may receive either an electronic appointment confirmation or card.

Photography Day; 

Jaspa photography will arrive at the event location approximately 1 hour prior to the first appointment to set up the pop up studio.  We ask that the room allocated is cleared of furniture to an area of at least 5 x 6 metres.

Please ensure that window have coverings to avoid streams of direct sunlight. Access to toilet facilities is also requested.

Once Families arrive for their appointment an assistant will greet them and collect contact information and details

NB: Jaspa Photography will never use or sell personal information for external marketing. ect.

After each family has finished their mini photography shoot they will be asked to allow 15 mins to view their portraits and choose any additional prints. We have payment facilities available on the day.

NB: Jaspa portraits sell them selves and we have packages priced to suit all. budgets. 

No high pressure sales

For families purchasing a CD Rom package., their images will be copied straight away for them to take home and enjoying the versatility of its many uses. How's that for service? 

All portraits fundraiser and additional purchases will individually packaged and receipted for each family.  delivery to the organisation is typically within 3 weeks from the photography day.

Experience with over 20 years working as a registered freelance photographer in the industry.

As a mum, I'm great with kids and have a real craft when it come to dealing with even the most temperamental child or adult.  

As this is my own business, I will be your photographer and not a subcontractor.. larger business have additional overheads to meet and will pressure your families into maximum sales.

 I can offer White, White brick wall, Black, Sandstone and a new modern grey backdrops I also use wide format that allows much more flexibility to photograph large groups and capture more spontaneous images of jumping, dancing and good old messing around shots that many families love.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: What is the cost for additional portraits?

Answer: Additional portraits start from as little as $50.

The complete Jaspa portrait package which includes 15 professional crystal archive prints PLUS a high resolution CD Rom containing all images from the participating families mini photo shoot ONLY $230

Q: Can I have my children photographed on their own for the $20 offer?

Answer: Yes, children can be photographed together without parents, however this offer is limited to one per person therefore the same person cannot participate in another $20 offer.

Q: Can I choose my fundraiser $20 portrait?

Answer: Yes, once each family is photographed their images will be uploaded to view. Parents may select their preferred image for their fundraiser and in fact select any pose combinations taken during photoshoot. Payment is on the day with each order (we accept credit or cash sorry no cheques)

Q: When will portraits arrive back at the organisation?

Answer: Unlike other companies that require a second visit for portrait viewings often inconvenient to the families and organisations, Jaspa will package and receipt each family’s portrait along with additional package orders and deliver to the organisation within 3 weeks from the photography day unless during school holiday interruptions (which in this case the most convenient delivery dates will be determined). Once portraits arrive at the centre families will receive either a SMS or email notification to collect their portraits when convenient.

Q. Can I invite a neighbour or relative to participate in the fundraiser?

Answer: Yes, the offer available to everyone. This is not just a fundraiser where money is donated, everyone is happy. Your organisation raises funds and families come together to have great photographs taken in a convenient, safe and no fuss environment.

Q, What to wear?

ANSWER: Hands down neutral colours are best!. They are uncluttered and do not distract from the concept of portraiture.. AVOID HEAVY STRIPS AND PATTERNS IF POSSIBLE. Metallic ITEMS ARE BRILLIENT AS WELL, PAIRED WITH NUETRALS, WHITEs AND DENIM also consider Adding simple focal points such as a gorgeous necklace or dress ring.

As for toddlers and  babies please avoid tight fitting skirts as they can make or break a great shot. Flowing skirts and dresses are so perfect to photograph and when you see the way I work with kids I love to capture really natural images of them jumping around or flopping all over their parents and siblings. Singlets are a big NO as well..
